Tutor: Andrew Jones
Andrew Jones is Owner and Managing Director of Xel Training & Development and started his career as a mechanical engineer with Courtaulds Textiles. His 27 years sales and management experience embraces hydraulics, materials handling, specialist rentals, environmental pollution control, training and consultancy and has sold into various industry sectors working with many blue chip customers around the world.
Before forming Xel Training & Development, Andrew was a highly successful sales manager selling direct to end users, OEM agents and distributors, both in the UK and internationally. He was specifically concerned with developing markets in North and Central America, Europe and South East Asia.
Tutor: Alan Chester
Alan Chester runs his own consultancy business and is also a Senior Training Director for Xel Training & Development having worked with Xel for fifteen years. He started his sales career in retail and his sales and management experience embraces couture fashion and tailoring, audio and electrical equipment and free standing and bespoke fitted furniture.
Before Xel Training & Development, Alan was a highly successful Training Manager for a major retail group. He was responsible for writing and designing training material whilst also organising and implementing the training throughout the UK. He was also involved in the training of sales people and sales managers to help sell multi-million pound franchises across Europe.
Tutor: Brian McGowan
Brian McGowan is Owner and Managing Director of his own IT training and consultancy business and started his career as a welding engineer within the MOD. He has over 25 years experience in the sales profession and is a very experienced sales and management trainer.
He holds a Diploma in Sports Psychology and is a member of the International Institute of Sports Psychology. This has helped Brian in the creation & delivery of unique motivational & leadership courses based on sport psychology team methodologies & principles.
Tutor: Ken Minor
Ken Minor is Owner and Managing Director of his own training and consultancy business and has over 38 years experience in the sales profession.
He is a very experienced and highly motivated Leadership & Management Development Consultant who possesses extensive knowledge and skills in the research, presentation and delivery of leadership, team development, sales and customer management programmes to a variety of clients.
He has a great passion for facilitating processes that challenges people at all levels to think, take action and deliver results. He possesses a strong mix of relevant business experience, consultancy and coaching skills and has the ability to ‘transfer’ theories into the real work environment.
